Monthly advance payments for utilities and building services.
Where you meet it
It is the second number on your rent payment, on top of the rent itself.
The fuller explanation
Heating, water, lift, communal lighting, cleaning and waste are paid monthly as estimates. Once a year the building compares the estimates with actual consumption in a settlement (vyúčtování), and you are refunded or asked for the difference.
