It lets you notify the trade office, tax office, social security and health insurer in one go.
The fuller explanation
Often abbreviated JRF. Filing it when you start a trade saves visiting each institution separately, but you are still responsible for checking that each registration actually went through — errors on the form are a common cause of missing registrations.
